What We Did

Shopify Setup & E-commerce Launch

The Big Result

A high-end product showcase that let Somar launch, take payments, and ship her first orders in July 2026.

01 The Starting Point

Somar had already done the hard founder work. She had designed the Bunnet brand, sourced the product, secured the domain, and started shaping the photography. What she needed next was the part that can make a new owner pause: turning all of that into a working Shopify store without the fear of missing a setting, breaking checkout, or launching with something half-finished.

02 The Real Problem

Launching an online shop sounds simple until you are the person who has to trust it with real products, real payments, and real customers.

Bunnet needed to feel like a high-end product showcase from day one. Not a souvenir shop. Not a cluttered fashion template. Not a Shopify store that looked like it had been pieced together in a panic. The job was to take the technical stress away from Somar, build the foundations properly, and give the brand a calm, confident place to start selling.

03 Strategy

Applying The Copper Method

01

01. The Honest Health Check (Audit)

We started by working out what Bunnet needed for a clean launch: product structure, collections, checkout, payments, email signup, copy, and the search foundations. The aim was not to add complexity. It was to make sure the essentials were properly in place before the first customer arrived.

02

02. The Strategic Blueprint (Plan)

Bunnet had to feel broad and wearable without losing its Scottish roots. We shaped the store around a clear product story: the bunnet as practical, purposeful, and quietly iconic, now continued through modern performance caps and beanies made for hills, gyms, golf courses, city streets, and everyday movement.

03

03. The Build (Build)

We set up Shopify, customised the theme, built the product and collection pages, configured checkout and payments, added the email signup, and wrote the core copy in plain English. The store was designed to feel calm, high-end, and easy to buy from, with no clutter getting between the customer and the product.

04

04. The Growth Partnership (Grow)

With the launch foundations in place, Bunnet could start taking and shipping real orders. We also gave the store the basic search structure it needs to grow, so Somar can keep building the brand while the website quietly handles the selling in the background.

04 Outcome

A Shop Ready to Take Orders

Bunnet launched in July 2026 with a Shopify store ready to accept payments, collect email signups, organise products, and ship its first orders. Somar did not have to wrestle with the technical side of e-commerce while trying to launch a new product brand. She could hand the shop over, know the foundations were in place, and focus on the story, the product, and the customers waiting for it.

"I had been developing my brand and building partnerships for over a year before launching my website Bunnet. I’d already secured my domain name and had a clear vision of what I wanted the website to be and just as importantly, what I didn’t want it to be. After speaking with a few web designers, I found Adam at Digital Copper, and I’m so glad I did. From the outset, Adam listened to my brief and understood exactly what I was looking for, both creatively and professionally. He was easy to work with from day one approachable, dependable, highly skilled, and always quick to respond. Adam helped shape the direction of the launch of Bunnet offering valuable guidance throughout the process while bringing my vision to life. I’m thrilled with the finished website. The feedback has been fantastic, with so many people commenting on how slick, modern and professional it looks. The support didn’t stop once the site went live. Adam remained on hand to answer questions and help me resolve a few issues, which made a real difference during those early stages. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Adam at Digital Copper to anyone looking for a talented, reliable web designer who cares about delivering a great result. Thank you Adam. Somar"
